This week we would like to introduce you to our International Director of Client Services, Jen Osgood.
Jen's journey with Rapha House began in 2008 when she joined the staff as a Child Protection Officer. After working stateside for several years, Jen and her husband moved to Cambodia from 2013-2014 where she worked as the country director for Rapha House. Since her move back to America, Jen's passion for helping vulnerable children and adults has only grown as she has become a voice for the Southwest Missouri Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition. On behalf of the SWMO Coalition, Jen partners with organizations and agencies to raise public awareness about sexual exploitation and human trafficking occurring in the United States. Another essential part of Jen's job is helping to identify local victims of exploitation and trafficking in order to connect them with the services they need to heal from their experiences.
Jen says, "the best part about my job , whether I'm working internationally or in the US, is knowing that what I am doing is making a lasting difference in the lives of exploited women and children in the future through those I help educate and empower as advocates."
Seeing the transformation that can take place in a victim's life when they have someone consistently investing in them continues to motivate Jen to relentlessly fight against injustice.
